I've set up a location in Second Life where we can meet
and chat in real time. (SL now supports voice communication
if you have a microphone!) If there's
enough interest (and we can deal with time zone differences)
maybe we can have a virtual support group.
If you haven't heard of Second
Life, it's a 3D Virtual World where the imagination
is the limit. When you sign up for a free account you create
your own avatar and explore SL. You can build a home, build
a business or just socialize and have fun. SL is whatever
you want to make of it.

 The goal is to make a support group for the schools in the area. Currently, there are no support groups around this area. The group will focus on various issues of bullying in a high school atmosphere and the issues that follow bullying. Bullying alone is an issue, but the long-term affects are what is detrimental to the individual. The group will be a safe place for individuals to discuss their concerns and a place where all the attendees can connect on various levels. If you have any more questions, please contact me. I am an adult survivor of school bullying.
I am looking for others from ages 18 and up to form a
support for others' like me in the Green Bay area. There
are currently no such support groups and I long to connect
with others' that went through similar experiences. Meeting
times would be every other week on Thursdays from 7-8.
I do not have a space to hold the group in yet, but I
will find one if I get enough of an intresest. Since I
recently experienced bullying in my workplace as well
I would welcome those who have experienced bullying
in their work place as well.

If you are a teacher who has experienced workplace bullying

Linda for more info. My PhD thesis is a Phenomenological study into The Lived Experience of Teachers Bullied and Mobbed by Colleagues. While the thesis is set in the Australian context, it is hoped the results will help other teachers living with this experience. As a survivor of the experience, I am happy to offer support to teachers who believe they are being targeted in their workplace.

is mainly for state, county and municipal employees or
contract employees who have been targeted for expulsion
or mistreatment and bullying. We have a support network
and are also an action group. All are welcome, even those
in with private employers as all want the government to
be accountable with taxpayers dollars. Confidentiality/anonymity
guaranteed if needed. We have a specialty in getting documents
out of the various jurisdictions using the Public Disclosure
Act. We can also get documents for anybody who doesn't
