What Every Target of Workplace Bullying Needs to Know

Female Employees Forming Cliques And Excluding Other Employees Whispering Behind Their Backs

I am not sure what to call what is happening at work. I believe it is a form of bulling. There is a couple of women where I work who target someone and then start throwing the target under the bus, running to the boss if the target is a minute. Pointing out their weakness and whispering and then when the target walks in stopping.

They also are actively trying to bring others into their little world. Luckily they haven't been successful. The rest of the employees are walking on egg shells. Because they have managed to get in with the supervisors we are afraid to approach them. So what is the solution to this?

Buy them some dummies, present them in the staff room, and tell them to suck on those

Form an opposing group, people that you can trust & discuss with. Beware of weak links! You don't want to make it known that you're making "a group". Just make it be well known that it is going on & opposed! You will have to document & have witness of what & when. If HR seams uninterested, go higher! If you are unable to trust anyone there, I would just document it yourself & add plenty of detail. That way they can't deny. Best Wishes & Good Luck!!

Female employees

The supervisor is allowing this behavior. Employees should not be allowed to watch another employees time and report it. It's the Supervisors job. Maybe the females are not really telling the Supervisors anything and only making you think they are. In any case, cover yourself and call in if you will be late. Try to ignore the females talk and then stop when you come in. This happened to me before and it wasn't about me. It was that the group of females were considering complaining about the abusive boss and were afraid to let anyone else know.
