What Every Target of Workplace Bullying Needs to Know

5 Year Old A Target of Repeated Kindergarten Bullying

by Michael Clarke
(Currans Hill NSW, Australia)

Right from the start of the year old 5 y/o son has experienced severe bullying at his primary school. A recent incident involved 3 kids 2 in my son's kindergarten class and one from 1st class kick him while he was on the ground causing severe bruising on the knees and after the kids admitted to it were given detention. I was calling for them to be expelled from the school. Remove the risk.

On the same day these kids were warned, my son had to go through it all over again. He was punched in the private area of his body by the same kid of the three that kicked him previously and then that kid held him while another kindergarten kid punched him in the private area this time missing and getting him in the groin.

Myself and my wife have had it as this would be the 12th occasion he has been hurt and are sick and tired of the kids not being removed from the school. The head kindergarten teacher told us yesterday 20.08.2009 that this age of children have not learned what's right and wrong. What a load of garbage.

I think they should look towards the parents attitude. So does my son have to be a punching bag until the parents get off their arses and tell their children what they are doing is wrong!!!

Since the school has no backbone in severly punishing these kids and their parents we will be seeking legal action to protect our son's physical and mental health. We have no choice since the school cannot and at times will not protect him.
